The Start of 2022: Amanda and Ej's Wedding

Hi Everyone! It feels great to actually start writing again! haha

First off, I know we are in March, but Happy 2022! What an interesting year to start off in 2022, right? This was going to be a fantastic start of the year for me. I had booked two baptisms, two 1sts birthday parties, and one wedding! (All within 2 months of each other!) And sadly, I wasn’t able to do another birthday party, because of a wedding I was attending too. But bam! I had 5 events (And Netta, You know I wish I could have been there for Evelyn! ;) ) I was so excited for the extra work and excited for how business seemed to be booming again! Things seemed to be going great! But then all of a sudden, because of that little thing happening in the world, you know what I mean the “Covid-19-times”, haha, but sadly once again, cases were rising during the beginning of the year, and I had my first cancelation with one birthday party. Then both of the baptisms, and finally the second birthday party was canceled. I can’t blame them. I'm a mother of a medically fragile child myself, and all I could do was agree with their decisions and I would have done the same thing! (My poor son’s birthday is in January and my husband and I had to make the hard decision to cancel his birthday party due to rising cases as well. I thought we were finally done. :( SADLY NOT THE CASE!!!

By the turn of events, all of them being canceled, I was SOOOOO sure my wedding was going to be next. I didn’t want to be that bothering person, but I kept texting and keeping in touch with my bride and asked how she and her husband-to-be were doing? But can I just say my Bride Amanda, was and IS one of the most on-top bride’s I have ever met? She honestly was so calm and so understanding during this crazy time, that when I mentioned about if the wedding was canceled, her response was so nonchalant and handled it like, “We’re going to make it work whenever that is! “ (I don’t know how calm and relaxed I would have been if that happened to me, but seriously Kudos to her!)

February 18, 2022… AND THE WEDDING IS STILL ON!!! :) I was uber excited and so happy that my couple were going to be able to celebrate their special day! I had my cameras all charged from the night before. I had called my second shooter, Mary, and made sure we were all set! WHICH WE WERE! :) From the morning on, everything was PERFECT! Amanda was a real life Cinderella. Her prince charming Ej was a true gentleman and both Mary and I were completely blown away and so honored to have captured their special day! Thank you so much again for asking Calorra Productions to capture your special day again to the New Mrs and Mrs. Morano!

Here is a special sneak peak to celebrate your almost 1 month of Marriage!

With love

Laura (And Mary in sprit)

God Bless Evelyn

This family is no stranger to me! On Saturday, I had the honor of capturing Baby Evelyn’s baptism.

This cutie pie was so great and well behaved during her ceremony, along with her reception. I had made comments on how well behaved she was; dealing with the heat for that day and having to deal with me behind the camera! haha She was such a Trooper

Before the ceremony, we had taken photos of her getting ready at her Grandparents house. Followed by group photo shots with the Godparents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Great Aunts and Great Uncles, we went to St. Mary’s Church in Rutherford NJ and had a private ceremony that was celebrated by Pastor, Very Reverend Michael J. Kreder! It was truly a beautiful time to be celebrating this beautiful little girl and surrounded with such love and joy! We then celebrated at La Reggia Restaurant in Seacacus.

Congratulations to Mommy and Daddy, Netta and Stephen. Thank you again for letting me capture this special moment! Enjoy some special highlights!

Ms. Wild and Adorable little Stella just turned one this past Sunday. She was such a cutie and knew exactly when I was near her with the camera and didn’t want to smile at all!!! THE STRUGGLE IS REAL! haha She was celebrated with her friends and family on a beautiful and sunny day! It was truly an honor to help celebrate this “Wild One!” Thank you to her parents Nicki and Chris for having me capture her special day!
